“Life without pain has no meaning”
— Arthur Schopenhauer
Simplified Meaning:
Imagine if life were always easy, without any problems or tough moments. It sounds nice at first, but it would also mean that we wouldn't grow or learn. Difficult times, like losing a job or having a fight with a friend, make us stronger and teach us important lessons. Think about a plant. It needs both sunshine and rain to grow. If it only had sunshine, it would wither and die. In the same way, we need challenges to appreciate the good things in life and to understand who we really are. When you overcome something hard, you feel proud and realize how strong you are. So, even though pain is hard to deal with, it makes life richer and more meaningful.
