“There are two days in the year that we can not do anything, yesterday and tomorow.”
— Mahatma Gandhi
Simplified Meaning:
We can’t change the past or control the future. What happened yesterday is over, and we can’t go back to fix it. Similarly, we don’t know exactly what will happen tomorrow, so worrying about it doesn’t help either. The only time we can actually take action and make a difference is today. For example, if someone wants to learn a new skill, they shouldn’t waste time regretting that they didn’t start earlier, nor should they keep saying they’ll start tomorrow. Instead, they should focus on practicing and improving today. This way, they make the best use of their time and make real progress.
