If they hadn't experienced how bad the fighting was, they wouldn’t value peace and cooperation as much. When countries go to war, many lives are lost, people suffer, and cities are destroyed. If we don’t learn from these awful experiences, we won't see how valuable it is to live in peace. By avoiding war and resolving conflicts in a peaceful manner, societies can grow, families stay together, and economies thrive. Knowing the horrific consequences of war makes us appreciate peace and work harder to keep it.
